ISO norms

ISO is the International Organization for Standardization, globally defining norms for
companies and organizations. On the international level ISO often collaborates with
IEC, the International Electrotechnical Commission. In Belgium the ISO standards
are managed by the NBN (Bureau voor Normalisatie).

ISO creates documents with
the required norms, specifications, guidelines or quality marks. These can be used
consistently by companies and they make sure that the materials, products,
processes and services are suitable for their goal.

Besides this, ISO makes sure that
these requirements match in all member countries, leading to standardization. With
an ISO certification companies make known that their products, services or systems
comply with the specifications agreed on. Besides this the ISO norms support
innovation and stimulate globally the quality, safety and reliability.

AMNorman helps
with the creation of a quality management system conform the ISO norms and
performs internal audits to verify conformity with the norms.
We are specialized in:

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 is worldwide one of the most famous norms when it comes to quality
management. It focuses, among others, on revenue growth, demonstrable quality, a
higher degree of customer satisfaction, efficiency, cost saving and adaptability in a
changing market.

ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001 focuses largely on the social aspect of environmental legislation. Besides
this ISO 14001 is increasingly a condition for companies to be able to trade. In
gaining this certification companies prove they are taking responsibility regarding the
environment and they are complying with the environmental legislation applicable in
their sector. ISO 14001 comprises the environmental management system.
Environmental permits and legal aspects of the environmental management we
leave to specialists, but the management system with, among others, internal audits,
a risk management plan, improvement trajectories and measures do form part of our
field.

ISO 22000:2018

ISO 22000 is the internationally recognized norm for food safety and provides
guidelines for the process of setting up food safety. ISO 22000 is focused on the
global agri-food chain and its main goal is guaranteeing food safety throughout the
whole chain. ISO 22000 is for organizations active in the food chain, but without
performing actions themselves with it. If you as an organization make products
yourself, you must comply with FSSC 22000.
